Happy New Year!
My first blog post of 2017!
If you follow me on Facebook you may have seen that I am focusing on the business aspect of my brand this year. SEO training, updating my website to be more user friendly, also I have invested in education from one of the worlds top portrait photographers too... I am excited to get learning some new tricks and soak up new ideas and ways to improve my services to my lovely clients.
(I will also be putting together Mini session options for through out the year too so keep an eye out for those!)
So after a rather.. manic? Christmas and New year, I had a shoot (You may recognise this crazy pair!) down at the local nature reserve in the fog! It was nearing early evening and we were not far off loosing the light altogether but I feel it made for the perfect backdrop! I convinced my now 13 year old (Yikes there's now two teenagers in my house!) to join us and snuck in a few of him too.. I am so glad I did even if he is scowling at me in most of them.. Or just hiding haha!
This type of session is where my heart lies. I am completely at home having my clients be themselves. No real posing or cheesy smiles. Having an adventure and simply enjoying themselves and their surroundings. Imagery that tells a story and captures the honesty in each moment.
Here's a few (okay so a lot!) from our adventure that day!
Enjoy! ~ Ellie
