Artists Inspired
Last month I joined a group of super talented ladies in a new themed blog circle.. unfortunately time sped by too fast and I missed Augusts theme but here I am with Septembers theme of GOLD!
The Artists Inspired Blog Circle is made up of an exceptionally talented group of photographers from all walks of life, from all over the world. They are wives, mothers, friends, daughters and visual storytellers who draw from their own experiences to create art that is inspiring, unique, beautiful and thought-provoking.
How dos it work? Well each month we have a theme to be inspired by, we blog our inspired images and then ask you all to follow the link at the bottom of every post to see how other ladies have interpreted the theme and leave them some love. Once you have gone full circle you will end up back here.
After reading through the other ladies blog posts I myself have been utterly inspired.. inspired and reminded to OPEN my eyes and view life around me more than thinking literally on our themes. A big heartfelt Thank you to me Artists inspired ladies!
So this is how I interpreted this months theme.
GOLD | Golden light.. Meet Thaila.
Many of my followers will recognise Mia from a few of my previous shoots (girl in the middle!) Well, Thaila is Mia's older sister and they are the daughters of a friend a few doors up. Thaila has taken up an avid love in photography.. so her Dad purchased one of my older DSLR's for her and after a few quick lessons in using it I asked her and her sister to join me on a golden hour shoot. We ended up leaving a little earlier than we should have for the light I wanted and had quite a group of kids (plus two dogs) but I nabbed the girls (including their little cousin) towards the end in this delicious light!!
I haven't finished the images from this session yet so you will find them in a new post later on but for now here is the golden light image I as hoping for!
Pop on over to the super Talented Holly Nicoles blog to check out how she interpreted GOLD.
